Amit Shah and J P Nadda formed a committee to prepare for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Bengal, with a target of winning 35 seats. Shah emphasized that a BJP government in Bengal would put an end to infiltration and cattle smuggling. He also mentioned the importance of the Citizenship Amendment Act in providing citizenship to religiously persecuted people. The committee will be expanded to include a 150-member election management team by January, with focus on rural voters.
