Poush Mela returns with CM call: 'Don't tarnish this abode of peace'

Poush Mela returned to Santiniketan after three years, organized by the Birbhum state administration with the help of Visva-Bharati University. Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee emphasized preserving the sanctity of Rabindranath Tagore's Abode of Peace. The festivities began with a procession to Tagore's home, 'Udayan', and a special prayer at Chhatimtala. Banerjee urged everyone to participate while respecting scholars, dignitaries, and ashramites, highlighting the tradition and significance of Poush Mela in Santiniketan.
