BJP leader Dilip Ghosh questions Didi's 'parentage', EC seeks report

"Didi goes to Goa and says she is Goa's daughter, goes to Tripura and says she is Tripura's daughter...," Ghosh said during a media interaction in Durgapur before going to make the deprecatory remarks. EC later sought a report from Burdwan (West) district administration. "Such comments... constitute an attack on her (Mamata's) personal character and modesty, and amount to a blatant violation of code of conduct," Trinamool wrote to EC.
