'It was all about bullets and ...': Bengal man duped into joining Ukraine war returns home after 8 months

Urgen Tamang, a retired Indian Army havildar, was misled into joining the Ukraine conflict after being promised a security guard position in Russia. Following eight months of hardship and an SOS to the Indian government, he returned home to Kalimpong. His return was facilitated by local authorities and the Indian government.
